November is American Diabetes Month

November is just around the corner and you know what that means, it is American Diabetes Month. A time when we remind those who may have forgotten that we must work together to increase diabetes awareness to defeat the disease once and for all. Let’s all join the fight together to remind the world why it should care about diabetes. We have some things in store to honor the cause so keep an eye out on the site. We’ll let you know shortly. In the meantime, let’s focus on October. We’ll be featuring some popular men’s and women’s diabetic boots soon from the group that brings you a wide variety of orthopedic shoes as well as some news and resources on Breast Cancer Awareness. Thank you for your help and support everyone!

Breast Cancer Resources

We are enjoying this colder weather which seems like it couldn’t get here soon enough. Fall is just around the corner and the days are getting shorter. But for now, let’s talk a little bit about Breast Cancer Resources. If you’re on Twitter, one of the best accounts to follow is ‘The Breast Cancer Site’ at @thebreastcancer. The twitter account is managed by a site which helps fund mammograms for women in need. Make sure you follow them for updates, news, and stories of hope.

Of course, we can’t talk about Breast Cancer Resources without mentioning perhaps the largest known Pink Ribbon. I’m talking about the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. You can shop and support Komen, read on resources to better understand breast cancer, and more. Check out the site when you have time and remember to spread the word on breast cancer awareness.

New Narrow Shoes for Men and Women

For the first post of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we not only want to celebrate all that we have been able to accomplish thus far with Breast Cancer Awareness, but also announce our newest categories on the site. Breast Cancer is a nasty disease that deserves dire attention. The Diabetic Shoes HuB salutes all those diagnosed and affected and we’re joining the ranks to spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness. Look for more posts to come throughout the month with resources.

As promised last month, we are happy to announce two new categories on the website. We now have the women’s narrow shoes and women’s narrow shoes categories. We know it is difficult to find an orthopedic shoe in a style that you like in just the right fit. We’re here to make the search easier for you.
