Keep Holiday Stress to a Minimum

The holidays are always a hectic time of year. From work, travel, family, gift buying, and even to planning diabetic meals, it’s hard not to get overwhelmed. One of the best things you can do this year, is take a step back and don’t let yourself get lost in the hectic hay-day. Go into a quite room or sit in a quite setting outside and take a few deep breaths. Breathing in the nose, large deep breaths, and exhaling out of the mouth can bring you back to reality with calmed nerves. While you’re there, just make a list of everything on your mind that you need to get done. Take a few minutes to write these things down. This list then becomes your checklist.
