Who’s enjoying the warmer weather? Okay, so it may not seem warm for all of us, especially those still in parts of the North East, or even Midwest, but we have to be fair and notice that the temperatures have risen a bit in the past few weeks. It’s getting to be the time when baseball is in full swing for all home teams, not just Florida and Arizona, the Spring Training destinations. Walks with dogs will be longer, jogs will be more enjoyable, and flowers and trees will be in bloom. Spring is the perfect time to lengthen your walk outdoors. A simple 15-20 minute stroll after dinner will do great things for your heart, and for your health. If you can’t do it yet because it is still a bit nippy, get your walking shoes ready, because the Spring season is just around the corner. In the meantime, make sure you’re making the right decisions with eating, and do your past to stay active indoors with simple squats and stretching.
